Editorial Policy

What we publish

Medication names, provider consultation fees, the provinces a provider serves, and process facts — what an intake typically asks for, how a renewal or a transfer between providers works, and how long a step tends to take. Each of these is a navigable, checkable fact with a source and a verified date; see our methodology for how we source and re-check them.

What we never publish

We do not publish content about what a medication does inside the body, why a clinician might prescribe one medication over another, how well a medication works, or any comparison between medications on those grounds. That distinction is deliberate: this site documents the path to a prescription — the process, the fees, the paperwork — and a licensed provider makes every decision about whether a particular medication is right for a particular person. We link out to a provider or to a licensed clinician for that conversation; we don’t attempt to have it on the page ourselves.

A scanner checks every page on this site, and every automated news post, against a maintained list of clinical and outcome-claim vocabulary before it can go live. A submission that trips the scanner is rejected outright — not partially published, not published with the flagged sentence removed after the fact. The check runs in our build pipeline on every change, not just at launch.

Who writes this site

Content is written and maintained under the byline GLP1Prescription Editorial — a named editorial process, not an individual persona. We don’t invent author names, credentials, or biographies for the people or the process behind this site.

Clinical review status

No licensed clinical reviewer is currently engaged with this site. Pages that would normally carry a clinician’s sign-off display “Pending clinical review” in that spot instead of a fabricated name or credential. If a licensed reviewer is engaged in the future, their name and credentials will replace that line on the pages they’ve actually reviewed — never the reverse.

Corrections

If you find a fact on this site that’s wrong, outdated, or unclear, tell us at hello@glp1prescription.ca or through our contact page. We check the report against the provider’s own current source, correct the page if the report holds up, and update its verified date. We don’t leave a known-wrong fact live while we get to it — a correction that changes what a reader would decide gets priority over other work.

Independence

We have no relationship with any pharmaceutical manufacturer named on this site, and no manufacturer pays for or influences anything we publish. Our only commercial relationships are with the online providers disclosed on our methodology page, and even there, the arrangement never changes which providers we list or what we say about them.
