In April 2026, Quebec's public drug plan declined to add Wegovy to its list of covered medications. The decision followed national price negotiations through the pan-Canadian Pharmaceutical Alliance (pCPA) that ended without an agreement (verified 2026-08-12, and not re-verified since — it keeps its own date rather than borrowing this page’s). We are noting the access consequence, not arguing the policy: for Quebec residents on the public plan, Wegovy sits outside the covered list.
