Mounjaro is tirzepatide — Eli Lilly’s molecule, and a different active ingredient from the semaglutide products. Eligibility works the same way regardless: a licensed clinician reviews your application against the provider’s published intake criteria and decides. What Mounjaro changes is the money. It is dispensed online, it is priced per pen, and the per-pen price rises with dose.

The eligibility gate: a clinician’s decision, same as every GLP-1
Nothing about the eligibility mechanics changes because the molecule does. Providers publish intake criteria; a physician or nurse practitioner licensed in your province screens your health history, current medications, and height and weight against them; and the clinician’s decision is final. The check above stays out of all of that by design — it asks navigation facts only, no health questions, and the strongest thing it will ever tell you is that you can start an online visit from your province.
What tirzepatide costs online, per pen
Felix publishes a per-pen price page for Mounjaro, and the price rises with dose: $350.60 at 2.5mg, $364.04 at 5mg, $413.55 at 7.5mg and at 10mg, and $501.88 at 12.5mg and at 15mg — each figure for a single pen (verified 2026-08-14). Felix states these prices are for patients in Ontario, do not account for insurance coverage, and reflect the cost after its Patient Support Program discount is applied. There is no monthly all-in figure here and Felix does not publish one; its own summary is that prices range from $149 to $678 depending on the prescription.
Visit fees are charged in addition to that, and billed separately: Felix charges $0 for the initial visit, then $40 for every follow-up visit (verified 2026-08-14). Hims Canada lists Mounjaro among the medications it offers but publishes no price for it — it says the estimated cost per refill is shown during the online visit, and lists a $12.99 pharmacy fill fee on each refill, with online visits starting at $39 charged only on eligibility (verified 2026-08-14). Maple leaves medication billing to the dispensing pharmacy (verified 2026-08-14).
Worth reading the schedule rather than the entry price. The step from 10mg to 12.5mg adds $88.33 per pen at Felix’s published figures, which is the kind of thing a single headline number hides. The generic semaglutide page covers the other side of that trade-off, where Felix’s published entry price is $149 per pen — on the same Ontario, post-Patient-Support-Program terms as the figures above.
Province still comes first
- Felix’s line serves: Ontario, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta, British Columbia, and Prince Edward Island (verified 2026-08-14). The check above routes on this list regardless of which medication the page pre-filled.
- Quebec: Felix serves no line there (verified 2026-08-14). Maple does, at its own Quebec pricing — $210 for one virtual visit with a Quebec-licensed doctor, or a $95/month membership (verified 2026-08-14). Our Quebec page maps the rest.
- New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, and Newfoundland and Labrador: outside Felix’s line. Hims Canada says it is available in all ten provinces and lists Mounjaro among the medications it offers, without publishing a price for it; Maple states its practitioners are available in every province and territory (both verified 2026-08-14).
- Yukon, the Northwest Territories, and Nunavut: Felix serves no territory. Hims Canada names no territory anywhere, which is silence rather than exclusion. Maple states its practitioners are available in every province and territory, while listing its named Weight Medication Assessment specialty everywhere except Nova Scotia, Nunavut, and the Northwest Territories — leaving Yukon as the one territory with a documented route for that specialty (all verified 2026-08-14).
Province decides whether an online visit can start at all; the clinician decides everything after that. Inside Felix’s six, the initial visit is $0 (verified 2026-08-14), which makes starting the conversation cost nothing even though the medication does not.

The page’s "does any provider dispense tirzepatide?" premise was false: Felix publishes a per-pen Mounjaro price page, $350.60 at 2.5mg to $501.88 at 15mg, and Hims Canada lists Mounjaro in its medication lineup. The availability gap is withdrawn and replaced with the published schedule and Felix’s own Ontario, post-Patient-Support-Program qualifier. Felix’s "$149 per month all-in" and Hims Canada’s "$149 per month for brand Ozempic" are withdrawn as unpublished. The generic-tirzepatide question is now answered as a documented no rather than as an unchecked unknown. Territorial coverage rewritten now that Maple publishes one. Felix’s visit fees were restated in that pass as a $99 initial visit shown as free plus $40 per follow-up, read off Felix’s pricing page — superseded the same day by the entry below.
- Felix’s consultation fee settled at a plain $0. The correction above had inferred a two-clause price — a $99 list price currently shown as free — from a struck-through $99 on Felix’s pricing block and a "$99 initial program fee" sentence in its pricing blog post. The site owner, who holds the direct relationship with Felix, confirmed the same day that the consultation fee is $0 and is staying $0; first-hand knowledge of what a reader pays outranks an inference read off a page, so both fee passages on this page state $0 (verified 2026-08-14). The two page observations are kept in our verification record, relabelled as superseded for publication, so the next re-check starts from the evidence. Unchanged: the $40 follow-up visit fee, separately sourced, and the per-pen Mounjaro ladder with its Ontario and Patient Support Program qualifiers.
